West Coast travel

Funky Monkey went for a holiday with Sam B.

He had a stop over at Arthurs Pass.  Can you find that on the map?

Funky Monkey got up close to a cheeky New Zealand Bird called a Kea.

It was a long way to travel in the car, so Funky Monkey got to play on Sam's ipod.
Near Greymouth, there is a place called Shantytown.  Shantytown is set up to be like an early settlers gold mining town

Sam tried his luck with gold panning and got a little bit.

 Whoops........Don't hit Sam please!

Sam and Funky Monkey were staying at a place called Punakaiki. It is famous for his special rock formations called the Pancake Rocks.  Here the water from the sea pushes up and makes impressive blow holes.

Here is a map to show you where Funky Monkey travelled to.
He then went on to Nelson with Sam as well but we have no photos as the camera didn't work.
It was a LONG trip for Funky Monkey in the car but he did fly back from Nelson to Christchurch.  Can you mark out his holiday on the map?
