It is in the South Island. It is on the East Coast. It is right on the sea. We can go swimming easily at Caroline Bay. It is part of the Pacific Ocean.
We are 2 hours from Christchurch and 2 1/2 from Dunedin.
If we heading west, we can go skiing at Mt Dobson in 1 1/2 hours.
Just a bit further on we can go boating at Lake Tekapo, Lake Benmore and Lake Ohau.
Look at an Atlas to find these places.
