Mr Be's Adventures

Hi
I am Mr Be.  The children of Te Tama will take me on lots of adventures during the year....keep checking in to find out all about them.

Waitangi Weekend -
7 February

At the weekend Caleb A took me to Cromwell....can you find it on a map?  We did lots of fun things.

I went on a knee board behind a boat.

I had a picnic down at the beach.

I couldn't wait for tea....first at the table and sitting nicely.

I sat inside the boat....I didn't want to get wet!

I got to eat lots of apricots.
There are HEAPS of orchards
around Cromwell.

It was a GREAT time.........I wonder where I will go to next?

Monday 13 February

At the weekend I went home with Harry but we actually had a sleepover at Hunta's house (well I think they went to sleep)

We played with some toys.  I got very giddy just watching the cars and bikes go round and round.

I nearly became dog food!

I found a cricket bat and thought I could become the next cricket superstar.  (See all the signatures Harry has got on it from the Canterbury and Otago cricket teams.)

They took me to the stadium to watch lots of horses do some very fancy tricks.

We weren't allowed to take photos during the performance - the flashes might have scared the horses. So this is just me waiting and at the interval break.

20 February

This weekend Kyle took me to Twizel.....I had SO much Fun.

Kyle took me out on his scooter.

And he played rugby with me.

We had seats to sit on.....I shared mine with Mickey Mouse - a new friend I met at the weekend.

Kyle took me out on the boat.  I even had my own life jacket to keep me safe.

It was another great weekend in the sun at Twizel with Kyle.

FOOD FOOD and FOOD

At the weekend I went with Xander and his family to a restaurant called Riverstone.  It is on the main road nearly at Oamaru.

Here is Mr B with Xander, his sister, brother and Grandad.

Thumbs up Mr Be said Xander's Grandma.

Xander has lots on his plate - but I finished ALL MINE!

Greymouth with Jack - Friday 2 March

At the weekend I went with Jack all the way across the Southern Alps to a place on the West Coast called Greymouth.  It took us about 5  hours to get there in the car.

We visited Shantytown.  It is a old goldmining place.

Oh no - Jack and Mr Be got caught being naughty and were put into the olden day police thing.

Jack got his face painted at Shanty town too, but I didn't want to get yucky stuff on my face.

Jack also went gold panning and got SOME.  I didn't have a go, I just watched Jack.
I was so tired coming back I had to have Monday off too.  What a long weekend.

Canterbury Athletic Champs with Sam

This weekend Mr Be went with Sam to the Athletic Champs held here in Timaru.  He competed really hard and did lots of events in the "BEE" grade.

Starting blocks - whoops a bit big for me to use
Mr Be flew over the hurdles

And jumped so far in the long jump

Lane one was my favourite!

And I got a ribbon for all my effort!

Weekend at Lake Emily

Last weekend I went with Braden and his family.  We went camping with another family too.   This is Braden's family outside the hut we stayed it.

Lake  Emily is part of the Ashburton Lakes.

We went for a long walk - about 8 kms.  I was very glad to be carried - like others were too.

The path just went on and on and on and on and on and on.

But it was pretty amazing scenery!

And sometimes the sky was fantastic!
I really did enjoy the weekend and meet a new friend to hang around with.

Weekend at the Rugby

At the weekend Mr Be went to the rugby in Christchurch with Toby and his family.  It was a very exciting game and the Crusaders won.
It was a special game as it was the first at the Crusaders new home ground.  The first time they have played in Christchurch since the earthquake.

Here I am with Toby, Max his brother and Mrs Finlayson, his Mum.

Back at Toby's house I was allowed to play with all his Trash Pack mates.

Ashton's Birthday Party

At the weekend I was lucky to go to Ashton's house.  It was fun because it was his birthday party.

This is Mr Be with Bruno.  Bruno is Ashton's pet cat.

Ashton got some lego for his birthday and I got to play with it.

This is Ashton's new bike - it is a bit too big for me!

Here am I with Ashton's birthday presents.  It was such a fun weekend.

Easter Holidays

Here is Mr Be in the car with Joshua, going to Lily's friends batch.

Mr Be played volleyball too!

Smile Mr Be (and Joshua!)

Mr Be slept on Joshua's bed - look at the big silver fern.

Mr Be got very good at the scooter and doing tricks.

No - Joshua did not land on me!
Way  up high - LOOK AT ME!

Mr Be went to Fun for Us in Christchurch

Look at what we made - it is made out of plasticine.

What a great holiday with Joshua!

Weekend with Sam S

Sam's dog took a liking to me............

......perhaps a little too much liking!

I got to play with Sam's trash pack toys.

Home with Harrison

Mr Be helped Harrison cook tea.

Then he played monoploy with Harrison and his brother Fletcher.

time for a movie in Harrison's special media room.
It was just like going to the movie's on the big screen.....AWESOME!

Off with Zarius - but not to Melbourne!

Last weekend I got to go home with Zarius.  It was special as we got to go away.  Here I am with Zarius waiting at his Grandma's house before we went to Oamaru.

Here I am on a canon at Look out Point.

This kind man l let me sit on his knee......but he didn't say very much.

Look at this HUGE penny farthing bike.  Do you think I had a go at riding it?

Here am I and Zarius riding the Night Train.

Thanks for the weekend in Oamaru - it was heaps of fun.

Off to Auckland

At the weekend Mr Bee and Caleb flew all the way up to Auckland.  What a fantastic time they had. We went to the Auckland Zoo, over the Harbour Bridge at night, up the sky tower, to Rainbows End, on a ferry to Devonport and to Kelly Tarlton's.
Caleb's highlight was meeting some of the Highlanders and most of the Blue's who were at the Sky Tower too.  Caleb got heaps of Autographs....wasn't he lucky.

Caleb, Mia and Mr Bee at the Airport.
Auckland Zoo and the crocodiles or were they alligators

Mr Bee meets Mr Tortoise

I wish I could climb like that chimp....

No Mr Bee, you can't go and join them.

No Caleb - don't feed me to the Tigers!

At the front of the Zoo....

 At the Sky Tower
I got brave and walked over the glass floor.

 Mr Bee certainly looks puzzled....

just hanging around!!!

Top bunk adventures - don't let me fall Oakley

Mr Be just couldn't get the cat to move!  Jack's Birthday party

Weekend with Harrison

The jars all have to go
I helped take it apart.......Demolition work is SO much fun.

I didn't wear a hard hat like Harrison, perhaps my head is hard enough anyway.
Mr B helping Harrison use the crow bar.

It works like this Harrison....but you do have to be VERY careful......Perhaps Mr B should just do it himself.
This is Harrisons new oven - I bet his Mum does lots of yummy cooking now

How about I just sit here amongst all the tools....then I won't have to help clean up.

Weekend with Reuben

Mr Be and Reuben went visiting the Rest home where Reuben's Mum works.

Mr Be enjoyed meeting lots of new friends when he said Hello to them all.

Mr Bee watched cook do the cooking.

Queenstown with Cole

Cole let me play with his trashpacks.  He has so many.

Smile Cole!

Mr Be got to go to a wedding and even had a photo taken with the bride and groom Chris and Susan (and Cole of course) - Mr Be made their day so special. Queenstown lights made more special as it
                                                                                                    was the winter festival there!

Ronald McDonald , Cole and Mr Be -
            all world famous

Mr Be got to go up in the Gondala with Cole and his sister Meadow.  He didn't go luging when Cole and Meadow did.

Williams Holiday Week

For the first week of the holidays Mr Be spent his time with William.  It was funny as he visited Queenstown again....but this time it was ALOT colder.

It was Williams, birthday so Mr Be was able to help him open all his presents.

Stopping at Omarama, Mr Be was able to meet the Merino Sheep and the Trout, which are icons of the high country town.

They went to Wanaka and meet Williams young cousins.
But he liked to sit RIGHT in front of the fire to keep warm.
He did like the trip to Queenstown as he got to have lunch at MacDonalds

He got to go up in the gondala.

The view from the top was AWESOME.

He saw a man on a Parachute coming down from the top.....but no he didn't land in the tree.

William and Mr Be in the Lindas Pass.

Hunta's week

Mr Be and Hunta spent some time in Hamner.  It was cold so again, he liked to keep warm in front of the heater.
He also helped sort out the paperwork at the desk.

Hunta's dog was very friendly.

And Hunta took Mr Be to meet these two horses.  He even had a ride on one of them.
And watched very closely when they were given new horse shoes.
Mr Be hiding away in chilly bin.....just hoping that there was some food in there he could eat.

Mr Be goes Shopping

Weekend with Ethan

Ethan took me swimming to the new CBay swimming pool.  It is great there. Justin goes for lessons too!

We had fun on the trampoline

It was Ethan's Dad's birthday on Saturday and look at the great jelly slice.  It was yummy.  It had jelly on the top, chocolate filling on the bottom.

Ethan took me riding on his mountain bike.  I had the easy ride in his back pack.
